How a reset actually happensA reset link is handed over by a person, not emailed. Your System Administrator issues one and gives it to you directly. It works once, expires after an hour, and signs out every session the account currently has.
If the account holds approval capabilities — a governing person, the chief executive, the compliance manager — an administrator cannot reset it. Those are recovered on the server with the break-glass tool, so that nobody who merely administers the platform can take over an account that approves things.
